MEDITATION POWER

Deep Meditation can dissolve physical and mental tensions that cause energy blockages and unhealthy Qi; can boost the energy of organs and glands; makes us more aware of our body and inner being.  Consciousness is rooted not only in the brain, but also in the vital organs and in a more subtle sense, in each of the cells.

We are often so out of touch with the body and emotions that we do not notice inner disharmony.

Meditation helps to get in the right mood but if time is of the essence just skim through the preliminaries.  You might find it worthwhile taking time out then to go through the process – it’s more likely to work better if you do!  And you could just dictate them into your smartphone to listen to later – not while driving or operating machinery!

It’s good to be comfortable – we’re not into ‘meditation pain’ here: but if that’s what you’re after check out Vipassana.  Those guys have some great techniques for making the most of discomfort.  We do more visualization: discomfort can be distracting.  Do I hear you say you’re not very visual?  What color’s your front door?  And how do you know that?  OK, let’s get on with it.

Sit comfortably, either on a straight-backed chair, or on the floor, spine erect and free, so not leaning on anything.  It’s all to do with energy-flow through the channels, or if you prefer, through the nervous system.

Preparation

Focus on the breath coming and going through your nose…

with your mind’s eye, look in front of you and see the sun…

and know that she is always there giving you life and light …

even if sometimes behind a cloud, even in the darkness of the night…

shining and smiling on you, giving you life and light…

keep your face always towards the sun and the shadows will fall behind you…

and now, breathe in the sunlight between your eyebrows…

breathe in the sunshine and let it flood your whole being…

with your mind’s eye, as you look inwards and upwards…

to a point at the top of your head …

to a point at the top of your head between your skull and your scalp…

that point between your skull and your scalp relaxes…

and softens…

and grows warm…

that warm, relaxing feeling flows down…

relaxing your crown…

the back of your head and your temples…

relaxing your forehead…

and now, relax between your eyebrows…

and the tiny muscles around your eyes…

feel them grow soft, and relaxed…

relax your cheeks, soften your jaw…

and release your neck….

and now, as your neck and throat relax, the tiredness and tension drain away…

relax your shoulders, the muscles soft and slack…

as you relax your back…

the muscles either side of your spine relax…

your chest…

your belly…

your hips and thighs heavy…

your legs, your knees, your ankles, your feet…

Rainbow Deep

Imagine a rainbow arching the sky…

look at the colors, and then, breathe all the way out, let your lungs empty…

then as they relax let the new air flow in like a tide…

and as it flows in…

then think of the number seven and see the color red…

I prepare to relax my body and mind…

see something red…

a red world…

I am more relaxed than ever before…

let your breath come and go as you count seven breaths of red…

then breathe out all the way, let your lungs empty…

then as they relax let the new air flow in like a tide…

and as it flows in…

then think of the number six and see the color orange…

something orange…

this is your physical relaxation number, the color six…

with your mind’s eye look inwards and upwards…

to a point at the top of your head, between your skull and your scalp…

and imagine it relax and grow warm…

and let that warm relaxing feeling spread down…

relaxing your temples…

your forehead…

and the tiny muscles around your eyes…

relax your cheeks and your jaw…

your neck and shoulders…

your chest, back and belly…

feel your legs heavy and all the tension flow out…

out of your feet…

out of your toes…

into the earth…

let your breath come and go as you count six orange breaths…

then breathe out all the way, let your lungs empty…

then as they relax let the new air flow in like a tide…

and as it flows in…

think of the number five and see the color yellow…

with your mind’s eye…

look in front of you…

and see the sun…

breathe in the golden light…

between your eyebrows…

into the crystal room and then…

let that light fill your whole being…

I breathe in the sunshine…

let the your breath come and go as you count five golden breaths…

then breathe out all the way, let your lungs empty…

then as they relax let the new air flow in like a tide…

and as it flows in…

think of four…

and green…

and the ancient healing forest…

green is the color of health…

and I am healthy…

let the your breath come and go…

as you count four breaths of cleansing green…

then breathe out all the way, let your lungs empty…

then as they relax let the new air flow in like a tide…

and as it flows in…

see the number three…

and think of blue…

blue is the color of love…

I love, and I am loved…

see a flash of blue sky…

let breath flow blue…

as you count to three…

flow breath slow…

as you count to two…purple…

all disappears into one, violet…

I am now at the deepest and most inward level of my being, deeper and more inward than ever before…

Passive Scene

Slowly count from one to three…

on the count of three snap your fingers and project your mind into a passive scene from nature, real or imaginary, memory or fantasy…

a beautiful place of peace…

1…

2…

3…

see yourself there, in nature…

see the colors and shapes and movements …

hear the sounds…..

smell the fragrances….

feel the textures…

look around you, in front, to the sides, turn around…

see what’s there, touch and feel and hear…

see yourself…

see your self in this beautiful place….

see yourself, relaxed and moving easily….

see your self, comfortable and at ease…

Screen of Your Mind

Look at the screen…

look at the bright screen in your place of peace…

look at the bright screen…

see yourself on the screen….

and now…

renewal and re-creation…

only you can know your full reality ….

only you can know the changes you want to make….

only you know all your resources …

you know your power…

reflect on what you want to change…

make a reflection…

on the screen in your mind…

and now, on that screen…

see the changes you want to make…

see yourself as you are…

and see all that you want to change….

show everything,…

everything you want to change…

show it on that screen…

see yourself…

watching yourself on the screen…

and seeing all that you want to change…

all that you want to lose…

all that you want to get rid of…

look, examine, and note…

what you want to let go…

see everything…

hide nothing…

all that’s to go…

see it, clearly…

on the screen before you…

and now!…

look at the screen, and see the image you want to change, yourself with everything you don’t want or like about yourself.  Some say you can’t change your height, weight or appearance but, in your Mind’s Eye, in your ME, you can be the YOU of your aspirations.  And who knows how that ME vision can seep into your cellular memory, even your DNA?…

Hit DELETE…See the warning… This will delete all your negative stuff  holding you back from being the being you want to be.  This action cannot be reversed.  Do you want to continue?…

You look at the Options…

Stay the Way You Are?  OR Be What You Want to Be?…

If you need to, take a moment to reflect on how you will be without the negatives holding you back.  Some of those negatives might provide safety, comfort, or a sense of escape…

Make up your Mind….

Make Your Choice!…

Go to Settings…

And Hit Restore…

Read the Pop-Up: Are you sure?…

Take a breath.  Think about it.  Really Think About It….

And if you’re really sure…

Hit YES!

The screen blanks…

And then fills with the image of you…

Yourself as you are, and as you desire to be…

on the bright screen…

your self…

as you are and wish to be, the same…

you see…

your self…

in all your shining beauty…

yourself as you are and be…

you see…

your head is comfortable relaxed and at ease upon your shoulders…

your vision perfect your eyes so clear and bright…

your skin is clear your bones are strong…

your nerves are tuned and your muscles toned…

you are in perfect health and in tune with life…

and this is so…

as you see yourself…

in your garden…

looking at your screen…

the screen of your mind…

in your perfect place…

feeling the textures …

smelling the fragrances…

hearing the sounds…..

seeing the colors of nature…

seeing yourself there, in nature…

your perfect place…

where you can come any time…

to relax, to be safe…

to see yourself…

as you are would be…

and this is so…
